a weird creature (eatable?)

now that mrs j has finally moved in radio has become mother substitute. mrs j is a 6 week young kitten from a feral cat. 6 weeks however is no problem for mrs j, indeed, she's now eating solids (with a little additional kittenformula from a syringe once a day) and behaving like a mad little cat she surely will grow even more to become. initially we intended to do all the seperating and slow intro etc but mrs j is an escapee and went in search for radio after only 10 minutes in her new home. she has not left his side since. radio was smitten from minute 1: a little creature that loves and admires him and follows him around and climbs on top of him and bites his ears. looks as if mrs j will be more dog than cat.

Redgirls have to report an embarassing mum moment. Again! Do you know .. she got really ridiculously teary when she read about Mrs J's arrival. And Radio's sweetness. Lordy she's a daft wet person! Mum says we all have loads to learn from the way animals behave(Uh? wot? Us ? Animals ?)

We LOVE cats too!!

Off now to post some pics on our blog to show you HOW much !!

I LOVE cats too - but my Oscar isn't so small and soft, he's a bit big and spiky. I keep trying to play with him but he's not interested. I wish he'd follow me around, at the mo I just follow him :-(

Enjoy Mrs J - she looks lots of fun.

i am typing this with a pair of claws digging in my leg (mrs j playing with my trousers). she has taken to follow me around now which is considerably more dangerous because i am constantly worried that i step on her. lasse sat on her yesterday, but luckily she's quite sturdy and he not too heavy.

we also have an old cat called oskar, but he lives with john now because he feeds him much better food than me and only occasionally comes in here, and he has not yet met the kitten (needs its injections first so i blocked the catflap)...not sure if he'll approve yet of the newcomer but oskar is quite a sociable cat most of the time.

we are waiting for redgirl's new promised posts to show hiw much you love cats (i bet you mean toy ones like the pheasent, or was that charlymorphs?)....;-)

Redgirls like REAL cats. We like them a LOT (have a look at our blog). We wish one would come and live with us. Lots of good games we could play.

It's really amazing how dogs can take to cats when the cats are kittens. the only problem is when the kitten gets bigger they'll probably be terrorizing you with their games.

the terror already started.....radio is being attacked preferably when he sleeps (poor him has no peace and quiet any longer)
