dognosis (from hypnosis)

this is basil. basil of course is a herb, just as a radio is something that noise comes out of...this basil and this radio are neither herb nor transmitter/receiver...in any case, basil cheered radio up immensly today because today we got a bit of a fright when radio's test results from the vet came back. his pancreas is not perfect and although this could be related to the rest of his disease, if it is a seperate condition it is not very good (when compared to similar cases). so we not only had a big dinner for him but are hypnotising him so that he'll get better. michael is the master at this art as you can see, and we all are astonished at the effects. radio's ears all pricked up.

Oh dear Radio. We are so sorry to hear about your worrying test results. Redgirls send you lots of hugs (though it looks as though you're already getting PLENTY of those from all around you. Yey!)

hi diesel,

why are you named like the stuff one gets at petrol stations? ;-)

radio is still on medication, will be for at least another 6-7 months, if not longer.

Hello anonymous,
I don't really know why I am called Diesel, maybe it was because I pulled like a train,or because I was very fashionable.
I think my first owners gave me that name,I was certainly called Diesel when I was with my breeder for the second time.
Anthony decided he would not change it as he had enough new things to teach me anyway.
He says he wanted to give me a name no other dog would have had but knowing him I would have been named after a tank,Cheiftan and Comet sound nice though.
Then there was his idea about calling a dog "Come" so he only had to shout one word instead of two.
Or his other idea about calling me "Dog" to keep things simple.
His worst idea was to call me something that would make it look like he had Touretts syndrome.
It is lucky he didn't change my name really, even if there are a lot of other Diesels there is only one of me.

Diesel.

hi anthony (after all, diesel will get you to read this anyway). i love the name diesel, truly, it is, as i said nearly as good as radio. we also love 'come', seems an elegant solution to having to talk too much, only problem is that he would come each time anyone would call their dog. we tried that with radio today, got people in the park to call his name, and he duly run up to each and everyone and wiggled tail as if he knew them. that teaches me a lesson, i will get a new tag without his name on.

So sorry to hear about this upset in your recovery.

R.E the new name tag without the name: it doesn't really matter if it has a name on it or not as to see the name on the tag the person would pretty much have to have hold of your dog anyways!!!

My mum personally wants my name on the tag so if I get lost at least they can comfort me with a name I know - well that is her reasoning anyway.

Sorry to hear that Radio is having health issues. But I haven't heard of hypnotizing animals as any form of treatment. Interesting.
